| How Can I Help?
Make a Donation
It costs us over US$15,000 a year to keep one elephant fed and cared for in the style to which they deserve to be accustomed (please see ‘where your money goes’ for a full breakdown of costs) so any contribution to this upkeep is appreciated. Because our partner hotels cover all the Foundation’s administration and our parent company Minor International is our largest single donor 100% of all donations go directly to helping our elephants at the camp or contributing to our projects, such as helping SE Asia’s wild elephant populations or our Elephants for Kids program.
Visit us and the elephants
By coming to stay at Anantara Golden Triangle or Four Seasons Tented camp and taking part in an elephant activity, you are making a big contribution to the day to day running of our camp, along with supporting our elephants. Please visit www.goldentriangle.anantara.com or
Educate your Family and Friends
The biggest driving force in the conservation of any species is education. Only through education can people be made aware of a situation and help to overcome it. Educate yourself and those around you about the situation for Asian elephants and how they can assist.Millions of tourists come to Thailand each year and most want an experience with elephants during their stay. Many unknowingly give their money to tourist camps that do not look after their elephants – with a bit of homework you can discover the trekking camps that do put elephant welfare first and, conversely, the self-appointed sanctuaries that are doing more harm than good to the conservation of the species. Through awareness you can help your family and friends to make an informed decision about which sort of elephant attraction to visit and what sort of interaction they have with elephants in Thailand and SE Asia.If you have any questions please feel free to Contact Us.
