Tiger has worked with the Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp and Resort for almost 18 years but only joined the Elephant Camp about 5 years ago. Although he was not born in a mahout family, Tiger has learned a lot about them through the mahouts that live on site and reading books.

When he first started working with elephants Tiger was scared and worried about what it would be like being around them. Throughout the years he has been at the camp he has learned about caring for the elephants and how to safely interact with them. Tiger’s favourite part of the job is watching the visitors’ happy faces when they meet the elephants as their smiles also bring a smile to his face.
